The beta for Diamant UV is free. In order to find the link for the download you just have to register for the forum. Once registered, a forum called Diamant UV will open with the download link inside.

Diamant UV beta 1.2 has finally arrived. With it comes the first iteration of modeling tools as well as hundreds of bug fixes and tons of new features. If you haven't had a chance to use Diamant UV you owe it to yourself to try it out. If you used the previous version, you should be very excited to use the new features. Check out the video's below to get an idea for what is new. These videos are also a great way to show what Diamant UV is capable of. Have fun!

fixes:

: new relax method that should not cause any blowups.

:added an error if your obj has namespaces in it. Namespaces will cause errors with the tool. I'd advise going into the obj import options and turn off namespaces. Otherwise you will have to rename your object to work with the uv editor.


Diamant UV beta 1.1 is now available. I have put a stop on the current 1.0 beta to let people know of the newest version. beta 1.1 has an update feature built in. You will be prompted upon load when a new version will be available. You will be able to continue using beta 1.1 if you wish by clicking ok. However, beta 1.0 will no longer work.

Go to the forums to download the latest beta and see fixes and release notes.

As soon as you become a member, a new forum called Diamant UV will become visable. Read the first sticky to get the download link and information. Diamant UV beta requires an internet connection. Make sure whichever computer you are running Maya on has one or it will not load.
